This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) applies to the official website of Weaver Network International Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Weaver” or “we”) and the Weaver products or services used.

Helping you become a registered user

When you use Weaver's products or services, we collect basic information necessary to provide the service, including device model, operating system, device identifier, IP address, Weaver software version number, and operation logs. Please note that individual device information and log information alone cannot identify a specific individual. However, if we combine such non-personal information with other information to identify a specific individual or use it in combination with personal information, during the combined use, such non-personal information will be treated as personal information. Except with your authorization or as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will anonymize and de-identify such personal information.

We may use information for other purposes not stated in this Policy or use information collected for specific purposes for other purposes with your prior consent.

Exceptions to obtaining authorization

According to relevant laws and regulations, we do not need to obtain your authorization in the following circumstances when collecting your personal/business information:

  2. Related to public safety, public health, and significant public interests.
  3. Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments.

In the event that we cease the operation of Weaver’s products or services, we will promptly cease collecting your personal/business information and notify you of the cessation of operation individually or through public announcements.

  1. Transfer with explicit consent: With your explicit consent, we may transfer your personal/business information to other parties.
  2. In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy liquidation, or other situations involving mergers, acquisitions, or bankruptcy liquidation of Weaver’s service providers, if it involves the transfer of personal information, we will require the new entity holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this Policy. Otherwise, we will request the new entity to obtain your authorization and consent again.

Public Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal/business information in the following circumstances:

  1. With your explicit consent or based on your active choices, we may publicly disclose your personal/business information.
  2. We may disclose your personal/business information when required by law, legal procedures, litigation, or mandatory requests from government authorities. In such cases, we will promptly notify you of the disclosure request unless prohibited by law.

Exceptions to obtaining authorization for sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of personal/business information

Sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of your personal/business information do not require your prior authorization in the following circumstances:

  2. Related to public safety, public health, and significant public interests.
  3. Related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, and judgments.
  4. Personal/business information that you voluntarily disclose to the public.
  5. Collection of personal/business information from legally disclosed information, such as lawful news reports and government information disclosure channels. According to legal provisions, sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of de-identified personal information that cannot be re-identified and does not allow identification of the data subject will not be considered as sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of personal information. For such data, no separate notification or consent is required for its storage and processing.

Industry Standard Security Measures

We have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect the security of the personal/business information you provide, preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss of personal/business information. We also provide secure browsing through the HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer) protocol on the Weaver website. We use encryption technology to enhance the security of personal/business information.

Trusted protection mechanisms are deployed to prevent malicious attacks on personal/business information. Access control mechanisms are in place to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal/business information. We conduct security and privacy protection training programs to enhance employee awareness of the importance of protecting personal/business information.

If you discover that your personal/business information, especially your account or password, has been leaked, please contact Weaver customer service immediately so that we can take appropriate measures based on your request. Please use complex passwords to help ensure the security of your account. We will make every effort to ensure the security of any information you send to us.

If our physical, technical, or managerial protective measures are compromised, resulting in unauthorized access, disclosure, tampering, or destruction of information, leading to damage to your legitimate rights and interests, we will assume corresponding legal responsibilities.

Incident Management

In the event of a personal/business information security incident, we will promptly notify you in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. The notification will include the basic information of the security incident and its potential impact, the measures we have taken or will take to address the incident, suggestions for you to prevent and mitigate risks, and remedial measures for you. We will notify you of the incident through email, letter, phone, or push notification. If it is difficult to notify individuals one by one, we will publish a notice in a reasonable and effective manner. Additionally, we will report the handling of personal/business information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required.

By submitting personal/business information through the Weaver platform, you agree and authorize Weaver to collect, use, share, and protect your personal/business information. If you wish to withdraw your consent due to special circumstances, please contact us in a timely manner so that we can take appropriate actions.

Your Rights

You have the following rights to access and manage your personal information:

Accessing your personal information

You have the right to access your personal information, except where otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations. You can access your personal information through the following methods:

  • Account information: If you wish to access or edit your personal basic information, change your password, or add security information in your account, you can do so by logging into your account and accessing the “Personal Center” section. If you are unable to access such personal information through the above methods, you can contact Weaver customer service at any time. We will respond to your access request within 30 days.

Correcting or supplementing your personal information

If you find that the personal information we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to request us to correct or supplement it.

Deleting your personal information

You can request the deletion of your personal information in the following circumstances:

  • If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations.
  • If we collect and use your personal information without obtaining your explicit consent.
  • If our processing of personal information violates the agreements with you.
  • If you no longer use our products or services, or if you voluntarily request to delete your account.
  • If we no longer provide products or services to you.

 

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify other entities that have obtained your personal information from us and request them to delete it in a timely manner, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations or unless these entities have obtained your independent authorization.

After you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup systems, but we will delete such information when the backups are updated.

Account Deactivation

When you need to terminate the use of Weaver products or services, you can apply to deactivate your Weaver account. You can apply for account deactivation through manual means.

Withdrawal of Consent

When you need to withdraw the system's authorization to Weaver, you can enter the system settings to cancel the authorization to Weaver.

Restriction on Automated Decision Making

In certain business functions, we may make decisions solely based on non-human automated decision-making mechanisms, including information systems and algorithms. If these decisions significantly affect your legitimate rights and interests, you have the right to request an explanation from us. We will also provide a method for filing complaints, as long as it does not infringe upon Weaver's trade secrets, the rights of other users, or the public interest.

Responding to Your Requests

To ensure security, you may need to provide a written request or other means of proving your identity. We may first ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. In the following circumstances, we will be unable to respond to your requests as required by laws and regulations:

  • Related to national security or national defense security.
  • Related to public safety, public health, or major public interests.
  • Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and enforcement of judgments.
  • There is sufficient evidence to show your subjective malice or abuse of rights.
  • Responding to your request would cause serious harm to your or others’ legitimate rights and interests.
  • Involving trade secrets.
  • Needing to comply with court subpoenas, legal orders, or legal procedures.
  • You have not paid the fees related to the services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string. This information helps us detect and prevent spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (referred to as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you have an associated profile picture. Media

If you upload images to the website, please ensure that they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from such images.
